When it’s time to photograph with kids and newborns, most moms are worried about how their kids will behave and we get it. Mom has likely spent time getting everyone’s clothes together for the big day and is really looking forward to their photography session. However, the kids, well that’s a different story. This is when an experienced photographer comes in very handy. We are used to these situations and it doesn’t bother us one bit. The most important thing at our Charlotte studio is for everyone to have fun. Yes, that includes you mom when the little one’s aren’t doing exactly what you want. Yes, that includes you Dad who knows the program, but doesn’t like to smile a lot. And yes yes yes, that means all the kids too. Our style of photograph is character driven, which means it’s okay for everyone to have a unique look. It’s okay if not everyone is looking at the camera. No one likes to be put in a box and we embrace that. Is it easy to accomplish, heck no. Do we love the photography challenge? Heck yea. We don’t care if we have to sing silly kids songs, walk on our hands, play catch with the kids till they get comfortable in the studio. None of this matters to us. So don’t worry mom, we’ve done this 100 times and we just want everyone to relax, we promise, you’ll love the results.
