The Weather Doesn’t Look Good For My Session Date

Charlotte Photography Weather MapPerhaps you have a session scheduled and the forecast doesn’t look too promising for the Charlotte area, what should you do? We’ve created a little frequently asked question for you below.

It’s a chance of rain for my session in Charlotte, should we cancel?
No, we often joke that we are part time meteorologist because of how often we are looking at forecast and weather maps.  Please allow us to stick to your current session time, we will contact you within an hour before if we need to reschedule. If we don’t contact you, please arrive as scheduled.  Often times, rain maybe in one side of town, but not another.  If you fail to show and weren’t notified not to show, your session will be considered a no show.

It’s pretty cloudy and dark out, will there be enough light?
For photographers, cloudy is a good thing. It gives us a softer light and allows us even greater flexibility to photograph virtually anywhere.  We also carry equipment that allows us to photograph in lower light conditions than consumer cameras do. If at anytime we feel as though conditions will not allow us to achieve the photography style you are looking for, we will always let you know.
